I was born and raised in Tallahassee until 1993, made a brief 4 year stop in the cesspool that is Jacksonville and now call Orlando my home.
Thanks to my dad, I was raised on reruns of Star Trek: TOS and the Sean Connery James Bond movies. Having Captain Kirk and James Bond as my role models, I began my quest of conquering women at the age of 12 where I quickly found out that Romulan Ale, shakin’ not stirred, does not assist the libido but helps build a callus on the left cheek where I often received the blow from many a open palmed female.
Eventually, being shunned by the female sex, I hibernated into the dark corner of my room in front of a Commodore 64 where I found that the warm glow of a computer screen and the soothing sounds of a modem dialing into a bulletin board became my favorite friend and lover.
Today, I still cower in the dark corner of my office where I troubleshoot Windows, edit movies on my Macbook, improve my bash skills in Linux or prone corners in Day of Defeat, with an occasional break to enjoy the beauty that is Blade Runner on the big screen HD TV.
To sum it up, I’m a tech geek.
